Why is a sorted load cheaper?
Tips charge by material. A van of only rubble or only cardboard costs far less to dispose of than a van of mixed waste, so that saving is passed on to you.
If you sort it yourself, one material to a load, you pay the lower sorted price. If it is all mixed together, the mixed load prices above apply. Either way you get a price before we start.
Cheaper than a skip
A full van of hardcore is £210, loaded by us. A 6-yard builder's skip is £220 to £280, you fill it yourself, and if it goes on the road there is a £42 Staffordshire permit on top. For the full comparison, read our skip hire alternative guide.
What every price includes
- A fully licensed waste carrier
- We do all the loading
- We sweep up after ourselves
- No skip permit needed
- A free quote

Prices, answered
Is there a minimum charge?
The lowest prices on this page are £4 for a rubble bag, £25 for a single mattress and £30 for one bin emptied. For anything small or unusual, send a photo on WhatsApp and we will give you a price before we come out.
What counts as a full van load?
A full van load means the van is loaded right up. For mixed waste that is £400 to £500. If the load is one material only, the sorted prices apply instead: cardboard £130, green waste £200, hardcore or bricks £210 and wood waste £250.
Why is a sorted load cheaper than a mixed one?
Tips charge by material. A van of only rubble, only cardboard or only wood costs far less to dispose of than a mixed van, so we pass that saving on to you. Sort it yourself and you pay the lower price.
Do you take fridges, sofas and mattresses?
Yes. A single mattress is from £25, a fridge or freezer from £30, a 2-seater sofa from £80 and a 3-seater sofa from £120.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and come with no obligation. Use the instant estimate, send photos on WhatsApp or call us on 07301 544068.
